Reduced Nutrient Leaching

Because of its high cation exchange capacity, ZeoPro is able to attach nutrient cations to its crystal structure and because of its patented nutrient delivery system, ZeoPro is able to deliver those nutrients slowly over time as the turf needs them.  The result is the ability to get better turf performance with less use of fertilizer and a reduced amount of nutrient leaching unwanted to ground and surface waters.  Reduced nutrient leaching with the use of clinoptilolite has been shown before in work at Cornell University and Washington State University  Reduced nutrient leaching with ZeoPro was demonstrated in research at the University of Central Lancashire.  The graphs below summarize the results of these tests.
